Japanese vaccination certificate is now accepted by Malta.

The Japanese vaccination certificate will be accepted using the VeriFly application. The Ministry of Health stated that the Japanese vaccination certificate will be recognized as valid by authenticating it with the same application. This eliminates the need for 14 days of isolation and allows you to participate in face-to-face classes at a language school. This app has been used to certify the validity of vaccination certificates in the United States and Canada. The vaccines recognized as effective vaccines in Malta are Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson.

After entering Malta, after receiving your luggage at the turntable, the necessary documents for entering Malta will be checked (certification of vaccination certificate and confirmation of dPLF contents). When you certify your vaccination certificate, you will need to authenticate with the Japanese vaccination certificate and the pass created by veriFLY. All passengers entering Malta should complete the Digital Passenger Locator Form (dPLF) online. A pre-register is needed since will need to present the PDF with the QR code you received after registration is complete before boarding and upon arrival in Malta. マルタ：日本のワクチン接種証明書を承認！

マルタでは、日本のワクチン接種証明書が認められることとなりました。ただし、veriFLYというアプリを使用して認証することが条件です。

このことにより、14日間の隔離は必要なく、語学学校の対面授業にも参加できます。

マルタでは、アメリカ及びカナダのワクチン接種証明書の有効性を認証するために、このアプリが使用されてきましたが、

今回、日本のワクチン接種証明書も同アプリを使用して、認証することによって、有効なワクチン接種証明書として認められると保健省ウェブサイトで発表されました。

なお、有効なワクチンとして認められるワクチンの種類は、ファイザー、モデルナ、アストラゼネカ、ジョンソン&ジョンソンです。

マルタ入国後、ターンテーブルで荷物を受け取った後に、マルタ入域のための必要書類チェック(ワクチン接種証明書の認証とdPLFの記載内容の確認)が行われます。

ワクチン接種証明を認証する際に、日本のワクチン接種証明書とveriFLYで作成したパスで認証することとなります。マルタへの入国は、以下の通知書に含まれる国の居住者のみ許可されています。
