The calm and clear Maltese sea offers excellent visibility, while the chance of dangerous fish is extremely low and for the first time divers and novice the final conditions are established. There are many difficult dives to choose from for the more experienced divers.

The clear blue Mediterranean Sea of the Maltese Islands is ideal for scuba diving. These three islands offer some amazing diving opportunities with an abundance of reefs, caves and wrecks making diving here one of the Mediterranean’s most fascinating.

On your day of arrival, you will enjoy a relaxing half day Diving session at Fortizza Reef, which is suitable for all levels of experience. This area has lots of caverns, tunnels, arches, and many more areas to explore including a surprising amount of marine life.

On your second day, you will be able to fully explore Malta’s diving areas including Marfa Point Caves, Ghar Lapsi, and the southwest of Wied iz-Zurrieq, where the wreck UM-EL-Faroud can be explored. To make this day more interesting, you will be traveling in jeeps to each location.

Malta’s sister island of Gozo, is also a diving paradise as locations such as Coral Cave, Double Arch Reef and Mgarr ix-Xini can be explored. On this day, you will also travel in jeeps to each location enabling you to appreciate Gozo’s unique beauty.

Comino is another island in the Maltese archipelago and is found between Malta and Gozo. On this tiny island, you will learn about the Lantern Point, Cominotto Rock and its Reef, and you will also explore the Santa Marija Caves. An experience not to be missed!

Prepare for the flight ahead and expel nitrogen with an adventurous non-dive day. Try Sea-level traversing which allows you to experience rock climbing, but with the added advantage of a very short fall into the sea should you not be able to continue your chosen route.
