The final location of the Malta International Fireworks Festival is in the Grand Harbour in Valletta. The fireworks displays can be easily seen from Quarry Wharf in Valletta. The show will also be aired live on TVM. Spectators will see the Awarding ceremony of the pyro-musical shows, traditional displays showcase by various fireworks factories, and the closing show to end the festival. The evening will be characterized by a show consisting of 20 regatta boats and 40 sailing boats, bearing the name of Il-Mappa, which will be televised live. Under the direction of international Artistic Director Chris Baldwin, the sails of these boats will be transformed into screens showing projections specially designed for this occasion. Under the musical direction of Andrew Alamango and with visuals by Charlie Cauchi, these screens will show images accompanied by music and the voices of several Beltin who will be narrating their stories.
