Taking place between the 7th-17th September 2023, Malta will be hosting Europride 2023.

Malta, according to the ILGA Europe Rainbow Europe index is ‘the best place in Europe for LGBTI+ people’. Malta has always been known as a welcoming and hospitable destination, and our legislation it is far ahead of many other European nations when is comes to LGBTI+ rights. Malta beat 4 other destinations to host this international event, including Belfast, Rotterdam, Bergen and Hull.

The program for the 10 day event is as follows:

  • Eurovision winner Netta will star in the opening ceremony taking place at the majestic Triton Fountain square in Valletta.
  • The 9th September will see the Europride move to our gorgeous sister island, Gozo for marches and performances.
  • 3 days of conferences and meetings will take place at the luxurious Phoenicia Hotel Malta
  • The 16th September will see the Official Europride Valletta March and Concert take place. The March will fill the vibrant streets of Floriana and Valletta with all the colours of the rainbow and bring great passion and joy with it. The concert is a free event and will feature Christina Aguilera for an unforgettable performance.

Art Exhibitions, fashion shows,  boat parades and many more events will make Malta ‘the place to be’ in September.
