Following your arrival, you will go on a Half day tour where you will visit two amazing capital cities. First, you will visit Valletta, Malta’s current Capital City built by the Knights of St. John in the 1500’s. Then, you will go on a night tour in Mdina, Malta’s old Capital City, better known as ‘The silent City’, which is a fortified medieval city enclosed in bastions.
Discover the coastline with impressive rock formations lapped by crystal clear waves. The island’s history makes its mark from clifftops to villages, and from valleys to the great bastion walls of the capital’s Citadel.
The southern part of Malta is a lovely place to visit and this tour will not only make you time travel to the past, but also show you what the south coast has to offer. You will first start by visiting Ghar Dalam caves, where the remains of prehistoric creatures lie. You will then visit the Tarxien Megalithic Temples, to then explore the Blue Grotto cave by boat. The end of the tour will take you to Marsaxlokk, Malta’s largest traditional fishing village where you’ll get a glimpse of the fishermen’s daily activity
Your last day will take you to the three fortified cities of Birgu, Senglea and Cospicua, the first home of the Knights of the order of St.John. The harbour of these three cities has a history far older than the knights as it has been in use since the Phoenician times. Its palaces, churches, forts, and bastions will sure leave you mesmerized.
