The Challenge

Due to availability issues, we only had 1 day to setup! In addition to which, the venue itself had a floor that was not level, no water or electricity AND it was a protected heritage site, so we could not bring any vehicles past the main gate.

Our Solution

We setup a basic conveyer belt system from the main gate to the dinner area. This system was a crucial part of our solution, as it ensured that all the pieces of the 160 square meter platform (to level the floor), the stage with its 12 meter backdrop, all the trussing, A/V equipment, tables, chairs and so on, could be transferred quickly and easily without any risk of damaging the Fort and without taking away any of our valuable setup time.

The Result

Our system was so successful that we have since used it on more than 10 other events. For our client, this system was a blessing as it saved on a lot of extra manpower, keeping her costs as low as possible.

You did a wonderful job in the organization of the Rotary Club Annual Event and the locations and logistics of it all really impressed my group of usually pampered Germans. Everybody was amazed at the efficiency and perfection of the organization and timing of every part of this trip.
